Speaking

I mostly speak to people who feel a gap between the life they're living and the life they were made for.

I want to take the biggest, oldest questions that humans have, and find answers people can actually use in their lives. I believe this can help a church, a company, a conference, or a room full of leaders.

Here's what I'm most often asked to speak on. Each one is really a question someone in your audience is already asking:

"How can I live a good life?"

Everything you have right now — your relationships, your money, your peace — is a product of your thinking. The Greeks knew it. Jesus built his whole message on one word, μετάνοια (metanoia): change your thinking.

If we learn to think better, we will live better. There's a simple equation to living a good life: Think + Be + Do = Have.

"Why is (insert hard thing here) happening?"

Adversity, frustration, suffering, or whatever word we use to describe it is not an interruption to the life we want. It's the training ground for it. Seneca taught to regard all adversity as a training ground. Scripture teaches that God uses what happens in our life to refine us.

Most people see adversity as punishment. Great people see adversity as training. The key difference between adversity and punishment is our perspective. I help people learn that adversity is a gift from God that reveals the best parts of us.

"What is the meaning of my life?"

The Greek word for masterpiece is poiema — a one-of-a-kind work of art. Scripture says that's what you are: not an accident, not an average, but 1:1.

Many people spend their whole lives squeezing into a mold that they'll never fit. I help people find the purpose that only they were created for.

I'd also love to help you answer whatever big questions you have, or create something just for you and your audience. I'd be glad to help.
